摘要：Strips (28) of polytetrafluoroethylene (i.e.,Teflon) are interposed, equallyspaced apart, between the journal and sleeve (24), and journal and collar of a bearingassembly (10) to provide lubrication thereat. The Teflon strips are fibrous and porous,and compressibly collapsible therefor, to insure that thermal expansion of any onethereof will not unduly load the bearing assembly (10). The bearing material has surfacevoids in which to trap and retain the Teflon which is wiped onto the contact surfaces.
