摘要：An apparatus for slowing a vehicle comprising a body member having a pluralityof wheels. The wheels are adapted to ride along a surface, and a brake extends

downwardly from the body member. The body member is movable to frictionally engagethe brake with the surface to slow the vehicle. A method of slowing a vehicle is alsoprovided. The method includes the steps of providing a brake attached to a bodymember of the vehicle, activating a control mechanism to move the body member of thevehicle, and moving the body member downwardly to engage the brake with a surface toslow the vehicle.
