A voluntary activity

Last Saturday, our school organized a voluntary activity, the aim of which was to build a civilized city. In the morning, we went to maintain traffic order in the city center. In the afternoon, we promoted civilized behavior at people’s square, advising the citizens not to litter or spit in public places. Besides, we call on people to be polite while communicating with others.

Tired as we were, we felt delighted. Meanwhile, most of the students thought highly of the activity, which would surely have a positive effect on their daily life.

I firmly believe that with joint efforts we can make our city a more civilized place to live in.
