yet用于否定句和一般疑问句。

yet 用在否定句中表示说话者期待的事情未发生。

yet 用在疑问句中表示说话者问期待的事情是否发生。

1. Have we found life on Mars yet? 我们在火星上发现生命了吗？ 2. I’m hungry. Is dinner already yet? 我很饿，晚饭好了吗？

already 表示某个动作比预期发展的还要快，强调动作已经发生。

1. I have just finished lunch but I’m already hungry. 我刚吃完午饭但是我已经饿了。

still 1.表示动作一直持续到现在
