银杏树长高了吗?

1. When I was young, I lived with my grandparents in my hometown, which was the most wonderful time of my life.
2. In front of our house stood a ginkgo tree that my grandparents had planted many years before. The tree had grown up alongside me and was tall enough for me to climb and survey the surrounding scenery, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
3. Eventually, I moved to another city with my parents, but I frequently missed the ginkgo tree.
4. Whenever a holiday rolled around, I would make a point to return to my hometown and check if the ginkgo tree had grown any taller since my last visit.
5. Ginkgo trees are known to thrive in environments with a pH range of 5 to 5.5, and they can grow in acidic, alkaline, and neutral soils. They are well-adapted to a variety of climates and can withstand high temperatures, abundant rainfall, drought, and cold winters, although their growth might be slower under less optimal conditions.
6. Ginkgo biloba, a species that has survived from the Mesozoic era, is a rare tree native to China. It is found in the wild only in the Tianmushan mountains of Zhejiang. Cultivation of the ginkgo is widespread across China, with significant populations in areas from northeast Shenyang to southern Guangzhou, and from eastern China at altitudes of 40-1000 meters to western Guizhou and Yunnan at altitudes of less than 2000 meters.
7. The ginkgo is not only cultivated for its seeds but also as an ornamental tree in gardens, and it is also present in the gardens of Korea, Japan, and Europe and North America.
